Little Shoppers Stay Safe Scheme

The idea behind the scheme is very simple:

• On arrival to Gunwharf Quays, the parent/guardian and child go to the Customer Services located opposite Marks and Spencers, where they will be issued with a free wristband for the child on which their parent/guardian will write two contact telephone numbers and any essential information ie Diabetic.
  
• If the child becomes separated from their parent they will be told to find a shop window which has the Bernie Bear mascot displayed. 
  
• Parents can then phone Gunwharf Quays using the information on the Little Shopper information card that they will have received along with the wristband.  
  
• We can then send security guards to go and look around the shops for the child and reunite them with their parents, with minimum distress. Gunwharf Quays Customer Service staff are always on hand to help parents/guardians fill out the wristband. 

All our staff have been fully briefed and will be happy to provide more information about the scheme if approached. Simply go to reception for your FREE wristbands.
