Portsmouth Harbour train station, The Hard Bus Interchange, the Gosport Ferry and Wightlink foot-passenger terminal are only 5 minutes walk from Gunwharf Quays. A short drive takes you to the Isle of Wight Car Ferry terminal, and Gunwharf Quays is only 10 minutes drive away from the cross-channel ferry terminal.
Exit the M27 at Junction 12, then join the M275 motorway which brings you directly in to Portsmouth, and then follow the brown signs for the Historic Waterfront leading you straight to Gunwharf Quays.

Gunwharf Quays car park is a 1,532 space multistorey underground car park, and is one of the largest underground car parks in the UK. The car park is open 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
A unique feature of the Gunwharf Quays car park is the bay indicator sysyem. This system allows drivers to enter the car park quicker with 32 guidance signs and 1,532 LED indicator lights directing visitors efficiently to available spaces.
In 2008, Gunwharf Quays won the European Parking Standard Award for excellence in service and standards. All of the Car Park Team are "Welcome to Excellence" trained and have completed the "Welcome Host" and "Welcome All" training courses.
The Gunwharf Quays mobility scheme is run from the Car Park Office.

If you travel to the Isle of Wight using any Wightlink service then you can claim parking at a reduced rate of £8 per 24 hours (excluding festival periods) rather than the standard rate £20. Please pop into the Car Park office during opening hours with proof of your travel to receive a validated reduce rate ticket.
Please note there is a 2.2m height restriction to be able to get in to the main car park. We have limited availability to accommodate customers' oversized vehicles in our smaller car park located next to the main car park.
On weekends and busier days please visit our alternative Car Park just a five minute walk away opposite the Hard Interchange. Wickham Street Car Park is located off the first right on the roundabout along the Hard or left into Wickham Street off of Queen Street. We have 420 spaces available and is fully staffed and secure. Cheap season tickets can be purchased and it is ideal for all day parking, open 7 days a week.
The A3(M) or M27/A27 connect Portsmouth Harbour with the rest of Britain's motorway network. There is a 1,532 space car park at Gunwharf Quays. Alternatively, you can use the City's Park and Ride service which runs daily.

Situated in the heart of Portsmouth with its network of cycle routes, coming by bike to Gunwharf Quays couldn't be easier.
Once here there are five areas of cycle racks around the site where you can lock up your bike while you are here.
We do ask that you please dismount from your bike when you get here and push it through the pedestrianised area to the cycle racks.
Gunwharf Quays is next door to the cross-harbour, Isle of Wight, and Gosport ferry terminals. The international ferry terminals are also just a short distance away. Gunwharf Quays Marina is also open to boats of any shape and size.

Hovercraft is the quickest route to Gunwharf Quays from the Isle of Wight.
If you want to experience some of the best shopping and entertainment on the South Coast, then hop on Hovertravel for a very speedy trip from Ryde to Southsea. Just 10 minutes across the Solent followed by a short bus ride will get you to Gunwharf Quays. The hovercraft is the quickest way to travel from the Isle of Wight and with crossings every 30 minutes you can be shopping or eating in no time at all.
Hovertravel runs services from 06:15 to 22:00, so you can pick a crossing to suit, then catch the Hoverbus to either the Hard or the bus stop opposite HMS Temeraire sport ground.
Travelling across the Solent at up to 35 knots and 1.5 metres above the sea is a great way to get to and from the Isle of Wight, plus with no baggage restrictions on Hovertravel flights you can shop as much as you like.
