Gunwharf Quays

Gunwharf Quays has excellent public transport links, as well as a 1450 space underground car park that gives direct access to the site.

Portsmouth Harbour train station, The Hard Bus Interchange, the Gosport Ferry and Wightlink foot-passenger terminal are only 5 minutes walk from Gunwharf Quays. Only a few minutes drive takes you to the Isle of Wight Car Ferry terminal, and Gunwharf Quays is only 10-minutes drive away from the cross-channel ferry terminal.

The M275 brings you directly in to Portsmouth, and the brown signs for the Historic Waterfront lead you straight to Gunwharf Quays.


CAR

The A3(M) or M27/A27 connect Portsmouth Harbour with the rest of Britain's motorway network.

Come in to Portsmouth on the M275 and follow the brown signs to the Historic Waterfront, and then Gunwharf Quays.
This will lead you directly to our 1450 space underground car park.


BUS

The Hard Bus Interchange is a short walk from Gunwharf Quays, providing direct and easy access for all bus and coach passengers.

HOVERTRAVEL

Hovertravel Ltd run the fastest cross-Solent passenger service (just 10 minutes) between the Isle of Wight and Southsea.  A Hoverbus service meets the Hovercraft at Southsea and arrives at The Hard every 30 mins.
The Hoverbus can drop customers off at the Hard and then collect them.
The return journey is via the city centre and Portsmouth & Southsea Station with a short wait at the Station bus stop before continuing to the Southsea Terminal. It takes just 15 minutes from Ryde to the Hard.

The Hovertravel service runs from 0630 in the morning from Ryde through to, the last service back to Ryde, at 1955 except from 19th July - 31st August when the last service is at the later time of 2035.
