Extreme with the Animal Relentless Freestyle Bike Tour Team

The Animal Relentless tour rolls into Gunwharf Quays on Saturday 26th July and sunday 27th July showcasing the mountain bike riding talents of legendary trials rider and Martyn Ashton and dirt jump rider maestro, Sam Pilgrim on the specially constructed Bike Park.

Shows start at 11am and run throughout both days at 12:15, 1:30, 2:45 and 4:00

The Animal Relentless Bike Tour Team will also be visiting the Animal store on Canalside, where Martyn and Sam will be in-store for signing sessions at various times throughout the weekend.

Dodge Urban Beach Volleyball Tour

 Life's a beach this summer as the fast growing Olympic sport of Beach Volleyball comes to Portsmouth's vibrant Gunwharf Quays.

The Dodge Urban Beach Tour bounces along to Pompey on the 8th August, for a three-day festival showcasing the best of what the sport has to offer.

The free event promises to be an exciting occasion for both beginners and experts of this hugely popular sport.

But Portsmouth residents don't need to head to the seafront to take in a slice of the action this August, as a special beach court will be created for the three-day event, using over 200 tonnes of sand surrounded by an arena for spectators, set in a lively and fashionable retail area of the city overlooking the historic harbour.

Players confirmed for this year's tour include for the first time, guest Australian pairs Sam Boehm and Christopher McHugh and the high flying Aussie girls Becchara Palmer and Alice Rohkamper – it's hoped that thousands will flock to the urban beach to take in the action on court.

So if you fancy going along to see some of the top Beach Volleyball players in action, or maybe you want to give it a go yourself – just come down to Portsmouth's Gunwharf Quays from 8 – 10 August. With competitions, tournaments and coaching for people of all ages and abilities, you would be foolish to dodge this exciting opportunity!
