Peter Emery has been appointed Centre Manager at Gunwharf Quays, Land Securities' £200 million mixed-use development on the waterfront at Portsmouth Harbour.
Formerly Operations Manager, Peter joined the scheme in 2001 when he was manager for Bowlplex - the first tenant to open a unit Gunwharf Quays. Peter was attracted to the wider role at Gunwharf Quays management and the opportunity to be involved in a major scheme.
With a background in Leisure Management, Peter was recently awarded his BCSC Diploma in Shopping Centre Management, a two-year diploma course in conjuction with the college of Estate Management (Reading) for which he achieved the highest distinction for outstanding achievement. Peter also has two prestigious Chief Constable awards and this year, won 'Individual of the Year'.
Peter reports to Mike Davidson, Land Securities Retail Operations Director, Factory Outlets who said, "Peter joined Gunwharf Quays at its inception and has played a huge role in making it the success it is today.
