Strada

Located on Canalside, Strada offers a menu dedicated to providing exactly the kind of traditional dishes you would expect to find whilst travelling around Italy. Set over two floors with a contemporary, warm & inviting décor, as well as plenty of outside seating, Strada provides the perfect way to enjoy eating out with either friends or colleagues.

Enjoy a menu that includes hand-made pastas with fresh sauces, risottos, grilled meat and fish dishes, and original Italian desserts. Top-selling dishes include: Gamberoni - roasted king prawns with garlic, white wine, chilli, lemon, parsley and extra virgin olive oil; Risotto Con Zucca, made with thyme roasted butternut squash, smoked pancetta and finished with parmesan, spinach and toasted pinenuts; Linguine Alla Pescatora is made with tiger prawns, squid, mussels and fresh clams; and what about Ribeye Steak on the bone served with rosemary and garlic potatoes and a rocket and parmesan salad.

Pizza's a popular and authentic part of the menu – each one spun by hand. Popular pizzas at Strada include the Manzo pizza baked with buffalo mozzarella, gorgonzola and finished with slices of beef fillet, rocket and shaved parmesan, and the Speck pizza with tomato, mozzarella and gorgonzola cheese topped with northern Italian smoked mountain ham.

Strada serves purely regional Italian wines, as well as beers and spirits, which have all been carefully chosen to complement the menu, and every table receives complimentary bottled purified water.
